.The name for this year's Christmas Cerpts was taken from stripper Kay Martin's Christmas Album "I KNOW WHAT HE WANTS FOR CHRISTMAS (BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO WRAP IT!).  Three guesses what she's talking about.  And no, your first guess is wrong.  But one of the songs on the album is "HANG YOUR BALLS ON THE CHRISTMAS TREE" and you will here that and many others herein.

As with all Cerpts in recent years, this one has old favourites and new shizzle.  There are also some old favourites by people we lost in 2025 i.e. Jill Sobule's Cerpts-Award-Winning Christmas song "MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE FAMILY" and Bob Rivers' "A MESSAGE FROM THE KING".  My mother's favourite Christmas album by The Kingston Trio is well represented this year as is the greatest Christmas song ever:  Darlene Love's "CHRISTMAS (BABY PLEASE COME HOME).  Lovely yuletide songs from the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society makes sure the tentacles will be hanging on the tree while a couple Christmas old time radio shows are sprinkled throughout.  Also, the popularity of previous Cerpts that have themed radio show/podcast episodes is continued herein starting with The "OH BE JOYFUL RADIO HOUR".  And all the Beatles' yearly Christmas messages to their fans appear (as well as a Christmas message to the Eurythmics fan club)!  Now, moving on to the 2nd volume of Christmas Cerpts Cheer . . .
